Community Support Policy
In refrence to https://github.com/rabbitmq/rabbitmq-server/discussions/13692. My previous thread has been locked, but I have now detremined the cause of the error and I want to share that with the community. My cloud instance used the arm64 architecture, but the Cloudsmit repositories only support amd64. Arm is becoming increasingly popular in the cloud market and is often cheaper, so this is a bit sad. The document at https://www.rabbitmq.com/docs/install-debian doesn't say that amd64 is the only supported archhitecture. If this had been stated more clearly and not just hidden in the deb configuration the script sets up, it would have avoided a lot of hassle. |
