Application not working as expected

Steps to reproduce

Open two console windows. midi.exe monitoring an endpoint in one, midi1monitor monitoring a WinMM port in another.

Focus the midi.exe window. press escape to stop monitoring.

Both midi.exe and midi1monitor stop monitoring

Expected behavior

Escape handled only by the window with focus.
