There are some useful commands.
nautilus
open the file folderxdg-open
opens a file or URL in the user's preferred application
Since I use windows a lot and I already have nice develop suite set up there, and when come into the Linux world, some alternative tools would be appealing, and there is a website for such thing: alternativeto.net.
cboxdoerfer/fsearch, alternative for everything

G07cha/pomodoro, pomodoro time management tool in windows, pomelloapp free to use in linux, not so good, but okay.
System Settings -> Appearance -> Behavior -> Show the menus for a window, check in the window's title tar
